Clash b/w Students of ABVP & SFI at Hyderabad central university over student union elections
A clash broke out on Saturday between members of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak (RSS) student wing Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and Students’ Federation of India (SFI) at the Hyderabad Central University. In which some students were reportedly seriously injured. The tussle broke out over the student union elections happening in the varsity.
According to the ANI report, “ABVP alleged that SFI students inflicted violence against the tribal students of ABVP & used sharp objects to attack them”
Visuals/images of the clash shared by ANI showed shattered glasses and damaged doors in the college premises and an injured person being rushed to the hospital in a wheelchair.
