India can offer wheat to Pakistan amid food crisis in the country says RSS joint general secretary

Krishna Gopal, RSS joint general secretary on Thursday said that India is in a position to send wheat to Pakistan to avert the food crisis in the country.

He was speaking at a function organized by film producer Iqbal Durrani to translate Sam Veda into the Persian language. RSS leader Indresh Kumar was also present at the function at Sainik Farms in Delhi.

The situation in Pakistan keeps on worsening. Pakistan is in the middle of an economic crisis due to mounting debt, low forex reserves, and sky-high inflation which has created a shortage of food across the country. To prevent default, the country is taking all efforts as suggested by the IMF.

According to the report, the source said the army was not able to feed soldiers ‘two times properly’ amid decades-high inflation and cuts in special funds. “We have already cut the soldiers’ food fund, which was doubled and approved by General Raheel Sharif during Operation Zarb-e-Azb in 2014,” the source was quoted as saying by News18.
