Journalist Alex Outhwaite made many friends in Tamil Nadu
Journalist and television moderator Alex Outhwaite made many friends while she was in Tamil Nadu. She shared a video, which is from Madurai, where an older lady should be visible sticking gajra on her hair.
Writer and television moderator Alex Outhwaite was in India last year to go for her show Immortal Tamil Nadu. It is an eight-section travel series where Alex investigates the state’s sea shores, mountains, and retreats. She had a totally incredible encounter and her online entertainment handles are here to tell the story. She made many friends while she was in the South Indian state. She imparted a charming little video to her devotees on Twitter on February 14. It shows an old lady merrily sticking a gajra on Alex’s hair.
The video, which was shot in Madurai, shows Alex in a market-like region. An old lady should be visibly bantering with her while sticking a gajra on Alex’s hair. The lady even gestures her head in the wake of sticking the gajra as a sign that she looks lovely.
For the unenlightened, a gajra is a bloom laurel that ladies wear during merry events, weddings, or as a component of traditional regular clothing.
Alex Outhwaite subtitled the video, “Making companions in Tamil Nadu.”
