Tech giant Microsoft has announced that it will instil Open AI like feature in its oldest apps i.e its office apps
Microsoft announced it on Thursday. The apps will have the technology of OpenAI GPT-4 AI platform. “This is the big next step for us — to put it in the tools everybody uses daily for their work,” Chief Executive Officer Satya Nadella said in an interview. The new technology will help people create “great content, great documents, great PowerPoints, art,” he said, and do sophisticated analysis using natural language queries. According to the announced news, The software, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word will have induced AI chatbot-like features.
“Makers now have a live in-studio copilot that helps them build solutions and provides suggestions for improvement. To build an app, flow, or bot, you can describe it using natural language and the copilot can build it in seconds. It is that easy,” the statement read.
