Russia senator claims Pakistan and Ukraine developing nukes; Pak seeks an explanation.
The Russian senator Igor Morozov, a member of the federation council’s defense committee made the claims and remarks during a news conference. The news conference was titled “Nuclear Provocations in Ukraine: Who Needs It?” as part of the special project “Ukrainian Dossier.” The Russian lawmaker made these claims and also added that Ukraine is capable of developing a ‘dirty bomb’. Adding to that he also questioned the financial aspects of the project saying who is investing in it.
Ukrainian specialists went to Pakistan for tech support and received a delegation from there to discuss technologies to create nukes that are nuclear weapons– stated according to a report by the Russian state-run news agency.
On the contrary, Pakistan on the other hand slams the claims made by the Russian lawmaker Igor Morozov and now seeks an explanation for such claims.

It is without any rationale, and is entirely inconsistent with the spirit of Pakistan-Russia relations,”–Foreign Office Spokesperson Asim Iftikhar.
Additionally, the spokesperson said that they now seek an explanation–“We are seeking clarification on this from Moscow,” the spokesperson said, referring to Russian Senator Igor Morozov’s allegation that Ukraine and Pakistan allegedly discussed the technologies for developing nuclear weapons.
