Twitter blue subscription service launched in India; Know the pricing
Twitter’s blue subscription service provides additional services and features to Twitter users. After Elon Musk’s acquisition of Twitter, many of the analogs have changed. One such is Twitter bluetick. Before the Blue Tick was given to celebrities, famous personalities, and important people too. Now, in order to get the blue subscription service, one needs to pay a defined price to Twitter.
Twitter Bluetick has been priced at ₹650 ($7.8) per month for users paying through the web and ₹900 ($10.9) per month for users paying through Android and iOS devices. This is close to the US pricing at $8 for the web and $11 for Android and iOS devices.
The company has also launched an annual subscription. The annual subscription is available only on the web and costs ₹6,800, which is ₹567 per month.
The Twitter bluetick subscription service will show other users that the profile is verified. Twitter has said that Blue subscribers who have verified phone numbers will get a blue checkmark after approval from the company.
The subscription also allows users access to the edit button, which allows them to edit tweets up to five times within 30 minutes of posting the tweet.
